Description: volunteers are most sought after to help care for up to 24 dogs, 65 cats and 45 kittens during kitten season. We need help with the cleaning each morning. You can also help with the gardening, washing, and lots of other little jobs that most certainly help with the running of the Refuge. The cats need cuddles and the kittens need socialising. Does not take long to give a dog the chance to go for a walk and enjoy the scenery and your company....having a good old sniff along the way. It only takes a couple of hours out of a day and you would find company in the furries and humans alike, and also be helping the community. You do not have to have experience but you do have to have a love of cats and dogs...and they in turn give so much for the love and care you offer them. Telephone the Refuge now if you live near Southern River, WA and have some time to offer as a volunteer.
