Volunteer opportunities

ACRES runs the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (AWRC) for wild animals rescued from the illegal exotic pet trade and rescued native wild animals in need of veterinary care before release back to the wild. Volunteers are welcome to assist with animal care at the AWRC (minimum age 17), native wildlife rescues (minimum age 21), maintenance work at the centre (e.g. gardening), education programmes, supervising student volunteers and office work.
